European Ship Simulator APK: The Ultimate Game for Maritime Fans

We are therefore very happy to announce that we have started the Alpha prototype development of NAUTIS Home - the successor of the Ship Simulator series. NAUTIS Home aims to make next-generation ship simulation available for all. A new chapter will soon start and you can be a part of the journey!

One of the criticisms levied against 2008's seminal Ship Simulator 2008 was that, despite the plethora of pilotable floaters, the several sailable oceans, the numerous docks and the faithfully recreated waterways, boating just wasn't "extreme" enough. Sure, your heart might skip a beat as your prow gingerly strokes the edge of a jetty, you might even have gasped in mild horror as another ship came within one hundred metres of your own, but there was nothing in Ship Simulator 2008 that could honestly be described as "extreme".

The two remaining campaigns feature a cruise liner (here, "extreme" means size rather than speed) and a series of tugboat and action missions. Variety is hampered by the lack of available mechanics - you're essentially limited to your water jet, your ability to deploy smaller boats, and your towing and mooring lines. And that's Ship Simulator's greatest problem - ships simply can't do many interesting or exciting things. A simulator that fully explored the minutia of ship operations in a robust engine could avoid tedium through sheer force of detail, but Ship Simulator 2008 was too basic to bring much joy to the defiantly relaxed pace of sailing, and Ship Simulator Extremes builds on that uncertain ground.

In moving away from its stoic simulator roots Ship Simulator Extremes succeeds only in revealing the series' deep set limitations. It's neither extreme enough to attract the attentions of those who would otherwise turn their nose up at boats, nor is it concerned enough with realism to hold the attentions of floating fanatics. It instead occupies an awkward middle ground while continuing to offer the scuffed production values that tend to accompany niche interest titles. Ship Simulator Extremes shows a great deal of heart (its Greenpeace campaign is replete with interviews with real Greenpeace ship captains with real beards and everything), but the charming shoddiness of Ship Simulator Extremes isn't nearly charming enough to warrant a purchase.

Ship Simulator Extremes is a ship simulation game developed by Paradox Interactive that gives you the chance to explore the seas. You can roam around freely or you can also do environment-friendly missions like keeping the waters clean and sea creatures away from harmful human activities.

Taking on the role of a coast guard can be a very big responsibility but you will find it enjoyable in this game. There are different missions you can do as you sail along the sea. The missions are based on real-life events and problems like rescuing people from an island that is threatened by a volcanic eruption. You can also protect whales from being hunted by humans. There are a ton of missions to choose from and it is even more exciting than simply sailing aimlessly from point to point. The missions are more than picking up and dropping off passengers in ship piers, which is what I think makes this game stand out from other ship simulators.

Of course, if you feel like relaxing instead of doing tasks, you can also choose to sail freely. The game has a free sailing mode where you can explore the open seas without worrying about completing missions. You can use this mode to familiarize yourself with the controls of your chosen ship. This is also the perfect chance for you to become acquainted with each one. Get acquainted with your vessel by walking around it. Expect to be up close and personal with the waves especially if you are aboard a small ship.

There are a lot of ships to choose from in the main menu and you can browse through each one of them. The game provides information and a preview for each one. Available ships range from gigantic cruise ships and heavy-duty cargo ships to swift yachts. Information is made available for each one of them such as their speed and the best environmental conditions to have them out on water. Aside from the ships, you can also choose which ocean to sail and what kind of weather condition you would like to have during your trip. You may think it fun to brave against a stormy weather but let me tell you that the game tries to implement realistic physics. Huge waves can topple down small ships and even big ones if you do not know how to properly drive it. There are also times when you might encounter icebergs at sea. Bumping against them may also cause damage to your ship. If you are down on luck, your ship may not be able to recover from hitting an iceberg and will sink on the spot.

Start from humble beginnings with a single ship and complete a selection of jobs that earn you experience to take on more demanding opportunities with greater rewards. Use your hard earned cash to repair your vessel and purchase new ships.

Ship Simulator is a realistic simulation game that puts players at the helm of some of the most varied and detailed ships on the open seas. Note that this is not a game. It's purely for those that have always dreamt of taking control of a ship.

As captain, you have to perform a variety of tasks within the 3D world. You can take control of a wide range of ships - from massive cargo ships and ferries to speedboats, yachts, water taxis and even the Titanic. The locations are equally varied - from Southampton (including the Solent), to Marseille and San Francisco.

This all sounds fun if you're a shipping enthusiast but if you know nothing about mapping, you'll find yourself stranded in the dock - especially with the bigger ships. You can have a bit more reckless fun with water taxis and yachts. It takes ages just to learn how to read the dials (never mind start the engines) on the bigger ships so you'll have to set aside a considerable number of hours to get the most out of this.

River-Simulator 2012 is a simulation game from Astragon, available in a trial version. This casual boating experience focuses on major waterways in Germany as you explore the rivers of the Main and Rhine. You get to choose from a wide assortment of ships and just sail down, accomplishing missions or just strolling around and appreciating the scenery.

With an added emphasis on visual quality and smooth gameplay, River-Simulator 2012 can still hold up against similar games such as Ship Simulator or European Ship Simulator. Of course, there are still a couple of restrictions such as ship selection and mission difficulty.

In River-Simulator 2012, you can accomplish different missions depending on the type of vessel you have. For example, there are passenger ferries that move people between two points and there are cargo ships designed for transporting large volumes of goods across farther distances. Also, there are other water transports designed for more inland waterways while some are intended for larger thoroughfares.

Other than that, the game runs surprisingly well with no issues regarding lagging or crashing randomly. The main issue in this game is the content restrictions. One, certain missions take too long without anything else to do, particularly with the cargo ship objectives. The game could also use other variants of marine transport, like a rescue boat or a cruise ship.

Although not technically a part of the Ship Simulator series, River-Simulator 2012 is a surprisingly fun entry in the ship sim subgenre. Its focus on visual accuracy leads to a relaxing experience. Difficulty-wise, only a few missions can be considered challenging or tiring. Aside from a few content restrictions, this game remains fun and enjoyable for a game released several years ago.
