Biological child: if the child is your natural offspring - Adopted child: if the child is legally adopted by you or your spouse or common-law partner - Step-child: if the child is the natural or adopted child of your spouse or common-law partner from a previous relationship - Foster child: if the child is placed under your care by a legal authority
