COLUMBUS COMPOSITE
for all middle and high school students
Big climbs, fast trails, and a team that pushes each other to go further.

More Than Just Pedaling
Learn Skills & Develop Endurance
We train to ride smart and ride strong. From cornering and braking drills to climbing technique and trail awareness, riders develop the technical skills they need to stay fast and safe on course. Layered on top is focused endurance and fitness work — because XC racing demands strength, stamina, and grit from start to finish.
The Payoff: Race Season
Racing
All that training leads to the starting line. Columbus Composite competes against other student teams across Georgia in four conference races hosted on exciting, well-designed trails. Riders cap the season with the Georgia Cycling Association State Championship — a weekend that brings together the best youth racers from across the state for one epic finale.

Fun First, Always
At Columbus Composite, we train hard and show up ready to race — but we never lose sight of what matters most. This is a youth sport, and our top priority is making sure every rider is having fun, building confidence, and developing a lifelong love of mountain biking. Whether a rider is chasing the podium or just finishing their first trail loop, we celebrate every win that happens along the way.
Join the Team
We would love for all who are interested in improving their skills and getting better on their bike to join us!

CULTIVATING PASSION FOR THE HEALTHY LIFESTYLE OF CYCLING ACROSS THE STATE OF GEORGIA
Georgia Cycling Association was founded in 2013. During the inaugural 2014 season the Georgia High School Cycling League, as it was known then, had 101 high school student-athletes participate. In the years since the league has exploded in popularity: ridership has multiplied by ten in the league’s first seven seasons.
It was in the 2015 season that the league added a middle school program. Youth cycling teams continue to pop up across the state of Georgia. From Albany to Dalton, Augusta to Columbus, and all points in between, including metro Atlanta, we cover the state of Georgia. In 2021, we launched a new name, new logo, and new website. This rebranding resulted in the name we use today, the Georgia Cycling Association. We are currently the second largest independent cycling association in the country.
